Today we’re announcing a $24M Series A led by Index Ventures, with participation from Y Combinator, Founders Fund, and angels who’ve actually run platform companies — operators from Stripe, Vercel, Linear, and Cloudflare.
The funding lets us double the engineering team in 2026 and accelerate the roadmap items you’ve been asking for: SAML SSO, audit logs, regional data residency, and a step-change in cold-start performance for edge functions.
Why now
A year ago we were three people in a Brooklyn basement. Today, 12,000 developers ship code on Lambda every weekday. We’ve crossed every metric we set for ourselves at the start: revenue, retention, NPS, uptime. The only thing holding us back is hiring fast enough.
This round is about removing that constraint without changing what makes Lambda Lambda: a small team, a tight product surface, and a refusal to ship features that don’t pull their weight.
What stays the same
- The free tier. We’re keeping it generous and we’re keeping it forever.
- The pricing page. Predictable, capped, no surprise overages.
- The roadmap. Public, with quarterly OKRs and weekly progress notes.
- The on-call rotation. Every engineer — including us — still takes a shift.
What changes
We’re hiring. Engineering, design, devrel, security, and our first dedicated SRE. Remote-first, with hubs in Brooklyn, Berlin, and Bengaluru. If you’ve shipped infrastructure people loved, we’d like to talk.
Thank you for trusting us with your backend. We don’t take that lightly.
